#FineArtFriday – Iman, by Norman Parkinson

Iman

Model Iman (b.1955) photographed at King Peter’s Bay in Tobago for British Vogue, May 1976. Iman is wearing a cheesecloth dress constructed with curtain material from Mexicana. As Norman Parkinson stated in his book ‘Lifework’, this was the first occasion he photographed Iman, who swiftly became one of his favourite models. The pair continued to collaborate throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
